I went into the website and downloaded a school photo from 1957. I was in
it. You must have arrived at the school shortly after but would be in the
later photo. I was able to identify most of the teachers - the ones that
stick in the mind like Old Nick, Bill Hayman, Jammy James etc. This was pre
Mrs Williams days.
It was great to see that the school is being remembered. I have visited Bath
some years ago when my elder son was at university there and I scoured the
bookshops looking through books of old photos in the hope of finding one of
Weymouth House. It was a real find to get a copy of that old school photo.
I believe there is a reunion being considered for 2004. It should be a
fascinating event.
