Just been out to fetch some bread and milk and the weather in Frome is miserable, in fact yesterday and all day today have been terrible, how is everyone else doing.

Hi Tony!

pretty dismal and wet here in Suffolk. A few glum minutes of dry weather then it started again. Difficult to persuade the aged dogge to get outside and pee&pooh. Or me for thatte matter.

Hi All.
Just to start the quote, Stu, 'Never node a nite like it!' You can take this literally as well, here in deepest Gloucestershire,
The wind be howlin' and the rain be comin' down in sheets at the moment, a real wild night. Still never mind, we've plenty of logs for the old wood burner and No3 son is just gone out for fish and chips. Make the best of it I say!
Van broke down on the M48 yesterday, on the way home from Cwmfellinfach, so had to take the old Discovery to work this morning, result, didn't have to worry about the journey home!
Have Fun.

Hello,
I don`t want to be a contra-wots-it about this wind thingy, but I`m getting back some of my investment in the Wind Turbine. It`s fair shaking the guy wires and "Whoosing" away to the neighbours at the moment for all it`s worth. I just love that sound of electricity going ionto the garage storage accumulator bank.

The rain thrashing down on the conservatory ..that`s a a pain in the ass when you`re trying to watch T.V. in the lounge. So, we`ve had a bath and off to bed for an early night .. hang on, wait a minute .. I know what you`re all thinking. Forget it .. just forget it .. a bloke gets to a certain age (with his wife anyway), where nooky, rumpy pumpy, and carnal desires give way to canals, laptops, buses etc. , and the exquisite pleasure  of typing pure drivel into a blank parchment made of regular pixels does it for me now.

Hey, I`ve just become my Grandad !!! .. hell... pass the Viagra .. Carole ,,put that book down .. no, keep the light on; second thoughts ...turn it off. I need the rest ... Ha Ha .. see you later guys .. be good.

Hi Bill.
Not sure about the nookey, rumpy pumpy and carnival desires, is the latter something to do with Bridgwater?
What a man does in the privacy of his own home is his affairs, but as me old mate Mick always says, what? me? I'm a repectably married man!
Now then, about this turbomabob of yours, I'm very concerned, what if the batteries become full up due to a surfeit of wind, does this mean that tomorrow morning your garage will be knee deep in electrons? Where will they go when you open the door?
Could start an international incident as far afield as Midsomer Norton!
Suggest it may be necessary to dig a big hole to catch them all. Hey that's a good idea, surprised someone hasn't thought of it before if we had one for each electron we could call them electron hole pairs.............
Bugger, this all has a ring of familiarity.
Have fun.

Must say I go along with the bit about typing pure drivel into a computer. Been doing it for years as it keeps the brain cell (singular) alive. The trouble is it's addictive and I have to carry on with even though I'm retired. The only difficult bit is in finding someone willing to publish it.

It's windy down here in Dorset but at least it's dry this morning, with sunshine even! Leaves are lying all over the place. Might work up the urge to get out of bed and wander up the road for a paper... later.

Was it absolutely necessery to rub it in Senor Coffin? Actually it was quite pleasant when I went out for the papers at 8 am., ****ing down again now though, eye of the storm obviously. We are quite lucky in being part way up a slope and facing North, not much chance of flooding, or landslip,  good retaining wall in place and well established trees, and we're far enough from the sea not to get any damage from that.  I do envy you occasionally Steve, but then again when I'm down the pub enjoying a pint of warm expensive beer whilst being ridiculed by my supposed mates I'm positively jealous, to the point of being green.
Still can't complain too much, grockles have gone home and the place is quiet, memsahib has got me planning next years hols. Morocco's been ditched and a short break to Budapest pencilled in for the beginning of April, followed by Egypt late in the year. Currently looking at the possibility of organising it all on our own, don't want to get tied up to an organised group thing, bound to be someone you can't abide, and having been on a couple of tailor made trips we've got an idea as to what's involved, after all much of the searching can be done on the net, as well as getting personal opinions and reviews of hotels, agents etc.

VVV wet in Monmouthshire.

Have just called off the U13 and U15 matches.  One end of the field is under 3 inches of standing gloop.  Health and safety regs (and RFU rules) are suprisingly unclear about the wearing of SCUBA diving kit in the ruck - so better safe than sorry - let the little darlings play Call of Duty instead.

Soggy days,

Mike

Medieval, this page is going Medieval Chris .. I love the Olde Angleterra sprechen .., sehr gute .. mein Herr .. as for publishing David, you can always publish in your ""Windows Live" space and give others access to it by joining their network. Or just bang it all on the discussion pages, maybe a folder on the "Skydrive" ..it`s good to talk (Ithink)

(P.S. anyone who still has a bloke called "Bill" on their network ..he`s gone and deleted his old account on "Live" .. you`ll need to join that young lads` ( Francis Williams ) network ).. oh for the surfeit of Bacardi John and the singular lack of concentration . .. and the excess electrons? .. well they warm up the Garage and the Motor Scooter. Two shunts with fans distribute all above 14.4v into thermo-neuclear breakdown (of the controlled variety.))

Must go and rescue the outdoor water feature .. and the washing line ..toodle pip..!!
