Hi All. Allen scythes is it? Yes Chris, there is a
market for them but they never seem to demand the prices that one would
expect. Job to make anything much around here, their high centre of
gravity does not make them very practical on our steep banks, around
your way it may well be a different story. As far as preservation is
concerned they would not be on my priority list but like all things
there are nutters out there that do collect their like and they do have a
limited following. Appreciated the piccies from both Ken and Graham.
Hope you can sort out your computermabob thingamajig soon Ken so that
we can see the remaining delights. This marathon thing made me exhausted
just looking at the photos. The only time I used to run with any
enthusiasm at school Xcountry was to get to the railway in time to see
what was at the front of the Pines Express. Still gainfully employed
till the end of the month. After that I'm not sure, but have people
badgering me all the time, reckon I could work full time if I wanted to,
but to be honest part time would be my ideal......... We shall see. Have fun. Sticky.
