Hi, I'm Brian Daracott and was at Bath Technical School from Sept 1960 (Form 2X to July 1965, Form 6X2)

Hi Brian, and welcome I hope you enjoy the site and read some of the old posts, you can look at old photos and notes by clicking on skydrive on the left hand menu, by the way feel free to add any old photos that you may have to any of the folders there, you also have your own online storage space again called skydrive but this is accessed from the top menu bar under the dropdown menu "MORE" in there you can create and store up to 25 gigs of files, these can be private or public or both depending on how you set your preferences, anyway enjoy the site and I hope you contact someone you knew at the Tech.

Please add a headshot to your profile, this is easy to do and can be a recent one or you can download the school photo from your year, make sure you remember where you save it on your hard-drive then click on the blank headshot in your profile and when prompted upload to windows live where you can resize it to just your headshot, this could also be a recent photo on your PC, any problems please ask and any of us will help

Evening Brian and welcome!

this site is everything that older men should get up to as their dotage either approaches or advances. It's all wonderfully irresponsible and incomprehensible to womenfolk....which is all to the good.

Glad you joined

Chris

Hello Brian,
Welcome as well from me, I hope you are settling in here. It`s all a bit bewildering at first, look up a few earlier "welcome posts" and all will become clear about how this site works.
I see that you are a member of "Pub pals" as well (quite a a lot of us are), I wonder if you are going to the rproposed reunion in Trowbridge (ish) in March next year?
Could be an interesting turn out. The age range will be from early 50s` to late 80s` (teachers .. maybe a few pupils as well Ha Ha )

Look forward to speaking with you soon .. regards

Hello and Welcome Brian, Have a good ferrett around and please join in with all the mixtures of sense and silliyness on here. All stories of our youth at the Tech will surely relight some of our aged brain cells.

John, I thought of you today at Clarke's World in Street. In the National Trust Shop there, were 2 whacking great books on Tractors !! I told my other half that I knew a man who would be interested. Sadly no reading matter on custard or parrots or buses !!!

Cheers all,

Rich
