Hi Anthony,
Noticed the inactivity over the past week. Is it your
birthday tomorrow, then if so you are one day before me? I sent an
email with a web address for the club that restored the engine (My
newspaper cutting last week). If Sticky or anyone wants the address, I
will send again.
Cheers,
Ken

Hello you oldies,
I`m not 62 until March the 9th .. so, who`s going to buy the cakes then?

Hello you youngsters.
You wait till you're my age you wont be able to have the cakes 'cos of high colestrol and blood pressure!
My Mrs says carry on with the cakes and just keep taking the pills, but I think she's just trying to get rid of me!
It ain't all fun being old.
Have fun Sticky.
PS Thank you for tracking down the engine restorers, Ken.
Yes if anyone could forward the E Mail address I would be extremely grateful.

Hi Fellow Aquarian,
Happy Birthday to you, and hope you have a great day. I am 64
tomorrow, and going out for dinner in the evening and then lunch the
following day with a few mates. Of course it is late summer here
and good weather and we have just had some beautiful rain over the
weekend the best for 10 years. Will try and put up some
photographs of the local creek (stream). Ken

Hi Ken
Happy birthday, have a good one. It must be raining all over the
world! We have had two days rain here and it looks like more to come.
Aquarians unite, one for all, all for one!
Cheers

Happy Birthday for tomorrow Ken, one more year and you
"officially" retire, do you qualify for a UK and Australian pension
combined? my brother-in -law has just got both after working for the
best part of thirty years in Aus.

Hi guys, this is Ian Tayler (technophobe trying to
get to find my way around this site and the pubpals site). But am
enjoying seeing all of your names and remembering who you are! I
too have a birthday coming up, 6 March, when I'll be 62. I
have found a photo of the 1959 1st year rugby team with Mr Pappin and
various small boys wearing what look like their dad's shorts.
Among them are Chris Wilkins, Ian Lambert, Barry Cannell, Terry Norris,
Roger Bains (I believe now sadly deceased), Doug Gray who I met up with
recently and who attended my third (and last) wedding! I will try
and scan the picture and post on the site. Am also a retired old
fart and will also try and post my profile and a photo when I work out
how to do it. Would like to hear from anyone who remembers me
particularly to hear if anyone is going to the reunion on 27 March.

Hi Ian, good to hear from you, always nice to get
another "voice" to add to the discussions, you'll have a lot of catching
up to do, apart from weeding out the nonsense. There are a few of us
regulars whose names you should recognise, Tony Eccles, Bill Williams,
Steve Coffin and myself for starters. I'm going to be at the bash, as I
believe is Tony, possibly Bill although last time I spoke to him he
hadn't committed himself.
Jethro impressions eh, his stud farm's not a million miles away from us.

Hi Ian we did meet occasionally at your parents place
in olden tymes as I was and am still a friend of yer brothers. It's a
bit crazy that we have both been living in Suffolk for years and have
never met up!! Rog keeps me informed of your doings however.
This
site provides a wonderful outlet for a kind of collective silliness
that is often denied to us by "normal" life. I suspect in the "flesh" we
would behave just as boringly as our families see us (unless sufficient
drinkies were applied). Also retirement is a chance to revert to a time
when (at least with rose tinted specs) life was a lot more fun.
Alas shan't be at the reunion due to prior engagements.
Must get back to attending to Parrotty's sexual requirements.

Hi all.
Welcome Ian and have lots of fun with the site!
I think you may take a long time to sort out the wheat from the
chaff, as they say. The chaff seems to be predominant but it's more fun.
I'm sure you guys have your worms mixed up again, you keep on about
Aquarians, don't you mean Antiquarians! I know nothing about aquariums
anyway.
Mere slips of lads! Happy belated birthday to all that celebrate around this time. I'm confused.
Go and lie under a warm landrover I think!
Have fun.
Sticky.

Hello Ian,
Welcome to the mayhem that passes for conversation here .. good to
see you again .. Dougie Gray was always on about trying to locate you
and get you to appear on here. Let me see .. when was it? .. oh, I
remember, only 2002 (I think) .. still, the message got through then eh?
... ha ah.
Hope life has been good to you, no doubt a lot on here to catch up
on, so have a good look round, and yes nearly all of us
will remember you .. one way or another. Do you still smile a lot ?
.. regards

Hi Ian,
Welcome to our happy band of ex Tech nutters. You will, no doubt,
find your way around the site and realise that anything goes here. We
love memories, stories, silliness...especially silliness. A few of us
have waited with baited breath for your appearance, after many promises
from Big Doug that he'd get you here and now you are. Welcome again
and enjoy !!!

Hi Ian and welcome to our site, I can only repeat what I
have already said on our private message, our problem now is that we
have gained you and lost big Dougie, hope you can persuade him to make
the odd post or two,as I said you can pop up anywhere you like and begin
talking about any old rubbish.

Hi Anth.
What's all this about rubbish? It's deep phylosophical thought.
Mind you, some of us are subclinically neurotic, or as a psychyatrist would say, stark raving bonkers.
Still it's a lot of fun!
Bi for now.
