This is for those of you who enjoy steam railways. I've uploaded onto the skydrive an MPEG video file of a narrow gauge model line that runs around my garden shed. It's called the Lizard Light railway on account of I happen to like that part of Cornwall.

That was cerainly worth the snail-like download time.  God only knows how long it took you to create that model.  I've been working on one for nearly two years and frankly it's not 1% of the quality of yours - hey ho that's what retirement's for!

Liked "Gert Bigguns" but missed what he/she did - now there's interesting line of discussion.....

Many congrats,

Mike

Started on it when I retired in 2003, Mike. To be honest I haven't done much to it in the past couple of years. Sorry for the big file size. I did degrade it before upload but any further degrading made the image too poor to look at.

Hi David, Mike and all.
You won't have to look too far to find a railway enthusiast around here.
Sadly I was unable to view your download, David, but intend to follow Bill's instructions to obtain the necessary fix.
A while ago now I posted some photos of Gauge 0 on sky drive in the railway related file. The locos are constructed by Mick Jefferies, a very good friend of mine. Obviously indoor layouts in this scale are fairly restricted so he concentrates on fine detailed locomotives. He has a short test track just to ensure that he has all the running gear OK. His latest is a Southern Railway Bullied pacific but I've not seen it yet, when I do I'll take photos to post on here. Recently he has been muttering about a S and D 7F, here's hoping!!!!!!!
In the same file are some images of my son and some of his mates playing trains with 5inch gauge GW engines also LMS black five.
Have fun Guys
Sticky.
PS How about some stills of the layout, David.

I also failed to view the video. In a cabin trunk in my loft is the son's entire '00 gauge' rolling stock mainly boxed. (He will not admit that he once was interested in model railways- but now has a son- who knows?)
I recall that either David or Martin Finney (on the membership here?) made a living from highly detailed railway models back in the late 1980s. Is anyone there?

Morning all,
Another MP4 Player for you, this one is a bit simpler to use than the last one I posted. I have used it for quite a while, it works very well.

It works with all versions of Windows ..bbrrrrrrrrrr chilly here today. Regards to all.

The only photos I have date back to 2004 when it was in an early stage of development. I've added some to the sky drive.

If you manage to download the video (sorry if it causes problems) you'll see Gert Biggun's pasty shop.
